Southeastern Regional Yeast Meeting

Date: April 17, 2021

We are pleased to announce that SERYM 2021 will be held as a one-day virtual event on April 17, 2021. SERYM brings together researchers in diverse fields who use yeast (any species) as a model system. Research from any area of fungal biology is welcome. Participation by trainees is encouraged, with historically strong representation from primarily undergraduate institutions. All presentations will be oral (10 minutes or 3 minute “flash talks”). Due to time constraints in the virtual format, we will prioritize presentations from trainees.

There is no fee for registration; however, registration is required for attendance and must be completed prior to abstract submission. Registered participants will receive a link 1-2 days prior to the conference.

SAVE THE DATE: SERYM 2022 will be held from March 25-27, 2022 on the campus of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Julie Promisel Cooper, Ph.D., Professor and Chair, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
